BOMBIES LAYBACK CINEMA FT. CORALS' LAST STAND
WEDNESDAY 17 SEPTEMBER | 7PM | FRESHWATER NSW
Bombies Layback Cinema has partnered with Surfers for Climate to dive into a story that hits close to home.
Join us for a special screening of Corals’ Last Stand. This powerful half hour documentary follows author Tim Winton, musician John Butler and a crew of passionate Australians as they voyage to Scott Reef, one of the most remote and unique coral atolls on the planet. Home to endangered sea snakes, turtles, pygmy whales and more than 1200 species, Scott Reef is a living treasure but now faces the looming threat of gas drilling in its pristine waters.
Through stunning footage and candid conversations, the film asks: in a time of rising global temperatures, can Australia afford to risk the future of such an irreplaceable ecosystem?
