We're bringing together climate leaders to talk about the powerful short film Corals Last Stand and what we need to do in communities across Australia to protect our environment.
This beautiful film, featuring musician John Butler and author Tim Winton, takes you beneath the surface to meet the sea turtles, pygmy blue whales, and ancient coral giants that call Scott Reef home – and exposes the devastating risks of Woodside's Browse gas proposal on the Reef, our climate, and the World Heritage-listed Murujuga rock art.
Following the 30 minute film:
Independent Senator David Pocock
Dr Kate Wylie, Executive Director from Doctors for Environment Australia
Investigative journalist and author of this month's Quarterly Essay, Woodside v the Planet, Marian Wilkinson
will join a moderated panel by Independent candidate for Bean, Jessie Price.
Join us for an evening of edutainment and be inspired by nature and our leaders fighting to protect it. Find out what we can do collectively to protect the precious Scott Reef and the extraordinary, critical cultural heritage of Murujuga.
