Join us as for a free, fun-packed family day to celebrate nature and learn more about what needs to be done to ensure we have a healthy planet.
We have live music (North Geelong Community Big Band and Daniel Aaron), a community art project led by First Nations artist, Kiri Tawhai which we invite you to participate in, kids activities (face-painting, art and story-telling) and will screen films (Coral's Last Stand, Rising Tide, Turning the Ship) that showcase nature and people standing up for nature.
We will hear from guest speakers including a community member who is fighting to save her homeland in the Torres Strait Islands from the impacts of climate change.
Something for everyone to learn and enjoy !
Afternoon tea will be available to buy.
Donations on the door will be appreciated.
