📅 Tuesday 14th October

Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling and inspiration through film. This special event will feature three compelling documentaries that explore some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time—and the people and communities rising to meet them. We have speakers after each film to answer questions and give us information on how to support each movement.

🎬 Coral’s Last Stand by Jane Hammond – a striking look at the threats facing our reefs and the urgent need for action.
🎬 Nowhere Else on Earth by Environment Tasmania – a Tasmanian story about unique places, fragile ecosystems, and the people working to protect them.
🎬 Turning the Ship by Rising Tide – a film of hope and momentum, highlighting collective action and the power of grassroots movements.

The night will weave together themes of environmental justice, community resilience, and pathways forward in the face of ecological crises. Come along to be informed, inspired, and part of the conversation. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

✨ Tickets are $5, all welcome. Licensed all-ages event.

✨ Cash donations will be taken at the door, all funds to film causes. All welcome.

In the ‘Map Room’ at Du Cane. Pizza supplied & drinks available for purchase!
