Join The Hut Environmental & Community Association for a special community screening of Coral’s Last Stand, Tim Winton’s powerful film exploring the beauty, importance and vulnerability of Australia’s coral reefs.

The film follows prominent Australians, including author Tim Winton and musician John Butler, as they journey to the reef to highlight the threats facing these extraordinary ecosystems.

Enjoy an evening of film, refreshments and conversation as we come together to reflect on the challenges facing our reefs and what we can do to help protect them.

Come along, watch, share your thoughts and be part of the conversation about the future of our coral reefs.

Prof. Sandie Degnan and Prof. Bernie Degnan, Centre for Marine Science @ UQ will lead a discussion after the film.

This is a public session by The Hut Environmental & Community Association and the ACF Community Brisbane West.

ACF will display its Save Scott Reef banner which is heading to federal parliament in early November.  You will have the opportunity to add to strong community support to save Scott Reef by adding your names to this banner and by signing the associated petition.
